Synthetic/man-made chemicals used to give color to products.

SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCE
Complex mixture of various chemicals to ensure fragrance consistency.

SLS/SLES
Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES)
Create high foaming and bubbles. Also used in household cleaning products.

SILICONE
Bio-accumulative chemical emollient which coats the skin

No longer used in body butters or shea butters.
